I’m Sela Volk
Hey, I’m Sela — photographer, art-school grad, and professional third wheel based in Vancouver, BC.
I studied photography at Emily Carr University, but most of what I know about capturing love came from growing up in a wildly creative family — the kind where someone’s always painting, filming, or chasing good light.
I started taking photos during Covid and never stopped. What began as a hobby turned into a career built on connection, curiosity, and a healthy obsession with turning emotions into art.
I’m the photographer who’ll fix your hair, crack a joke, and tell you exactly what to do with your hands — while somehow catching the in-between moments that make you say “wait, that’s us?”
